Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

personal injury at work

My leg was burned at work December 1993. I did not wish to press charges, at that time because my employer was very helpful. I was on disability for 8 months. In the past two years, I have had another problem of skin irritation due to grease and oil exposure. I have been to many doctors/tested through workmen's comp. Now they want me to take a different job with a different company for less wages, benefits, and possibly no union protection. I do not want to do this. Is it still possible to get compensation (sue) over the leg burn of 1993?

Re: personal injury at work

If you are not able to return to work and make the same wages, then you might have a claim. I would interested to know how or why you were burned.
