The question is I bought my house before this ordinance was wrote I have 4 horses on 8 acers just enough land. What happens when I breed my horses am I in violation and do I have to get rid of all my horses or just until my total is reduced enough for the property I own? or am I not gradfathered at all?PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP

Re: grandfather clause on village ordinance

You are going to need to consult with a land use attorney on this, but I think youneed to find a way to confirm whether you'd be violating the ordinance. Additionally, you may want into getting a nonconforming use permit. A land use attorney would be able to advise you on how feasible that is.
