wrong address on ticket

my daughter was stopped for speeding doing 5 miles over speed limit. on her ticket they have her living at wrong address..(new address was on the back of the liscence)...we have lived in the new address over 1 and a half years..does she stand a chance to have her ticket dismissed or just pay it?

If this is the only ticket your daughter has received, she would benefit by requesting a formal hearing which would likely result in 0 points being placed on her record. If she just pays the ticket, 2 points will be placed on her master driving record.

The wrong address is not helpful to you as she should have changed her address with the Secretary of State within 6 months of moving. Not to do so is a misdemeanor. She should change her address ASAP to avoid a penalty.
