No compete clause
I signed a no compete agreement,I now have been removed from that postion, my pay cut. Want to look for another job. Is that contract legal still?

Hard to tell without reviewing the clause itself. Such clauses must be reasonable and generally (to repeat: generally) if the employee is involuntarily discharged from the position the employee may be able to be released from it.
But, the language of the clause would be important.
