bad check

I sold a snomobile for 1450 dollars, after 5 days i recieved a letter from my bank telling me the check he wrote me was no good. Now what do i need to do, I contacted the the guy to see what was up and he said I could get the snomobile back but that his friend had it and hes about 170 miles away.

Given the amount in controversy, it is a matter that can best be resolved by suing in Conciliation Court. You can also agree to rescind the sale and retake possession of the snowmobile.

You can sue on the check or get the deal reversed.

Have your attorney send a Demand Letter, then sue if you don't get action, in Conciliation Court.
