Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota
Not married , but living together
My ex-wife has moved in with another man and taken our daughter with her. My ex is not married to this man. I do not think this is a good example for my daughter. Is there a law that prohibits this?

There is very little that you can do about such an issue. Your ex may freely cohabitate with other persons and there is little that can be done unless the co-habitant in some represents a physical danger to the child.

Only in North Carolina as far as I recall. North Carolina (at least as of a few years ago), prohibits cohabitation. I believe North Dakota had one awhile ago, but they repealed it. Minnesota has no such law. Even if we did, no one would enforce it - just like tons of other laws on the books (like the Felony depriving another of custody, I have never seen or heard of that being charged).
