Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

How do I obtain a legal paternity test? I am the father, my daughter is 4 weeks old, my name is on the certificate and I believe she may not be mine. If I am not the father, how do I remove my name from the birth certificate?

You would file a paternity action in court where the mother resides and, as part of that proceeding, seek paternity testing. A paternity case means a case that either establishes paternity or allows a erson to disclaim paternity.
