Legal Question in Personal Injury in Missouri

I was in an accident where I was heading south & a driver pulling out of a parking lot trying to go north hit me on the passenger side. It was a four lane highwway, no turn lane, I was in the left southbound lane the whole time & the car in the right stopped to turn into that parking lot. The other driver pulled out of the lot, thinking it was clear and hit me. We both reported the accident to our insurance companies, but the other driver now says I was in the right lane & swerved around the car & hit them. I have serious damage to the front right wheel and door to my car, they have almost none, so I don't see how that's possible. Now the drivers insurance company doesn't want to cover it. Even though the other drivers is a false story, doesn't the fault still fall on the driver who pulls out of a parking lot and hits the car on the highway?

In most cases, the person entering a roadway, from a parking lot, is at fault for such a collision. Hopefully, the police report will prove your version of the collision. If you didn't get a police report, you need to hire counsel to help deal with the insurer.

Good luck
