Legal Question in Criminal Law in Nevada
misdemeanor petty larceny $14
1st time offense--no record-no intent-50+ years old. Don't live here. May I observe a hearing or whatever it's called to know what to expect? Will I be able to talk to a prosecutor to bargain down the offense or have it dropped ?

You are likely able to expect a dismissal after completing community service and a petty larceny class.

An attorney can waive your appearance and get you into a diversion program where you can get this dismissed after on line counseling and/or community service.
