Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Divorce twice? (International)

My ex and I married in Turkey (marriage was registered there) in 1988 and had 1 child. I'm American, and she has dual citizenship. We separated in 1995 and divorced in 1997 (Nevada divorce). She remarried in Nevada in 1997 and has lived there since 1995.

Now after all these years she is saying we have to get a divorced in Turkey too so she can get an inheritance from her parents. She wants me to sign a power of attorney over to some Turkish attorney . I refused (We do not speak directly but through our 20 year old) since 1. We are already divorced. 2. I do not see what I have to do with her getting her inheritance in Turkey. 3. I am an American and we both live in America.

I told her to just take our divorce decree to Turkey and have it registered there. (she visits every year)

My question is if she manages to get a Turkish divorce decree (without my knowledge) and then tries to have Nevada enforce it will she succeed since Nevada already divorced us in 1997? I do not put it past her to have the Turkish courts put an order about money in there and then go to Nevada and try to get it enforced out of spite. I followed the Nevada decree explicitly and child support ended last Oct. 08 (child was 19 and graduated high school).
