Legal Question in Employment Law in Nevada

If you are considered to be on a Salary, is there a maimum amount of hours that you can be told to work without being further compensated? Example : Open at 6:00 am Close about 3:30 pm and given 12-16 hours of work to do on site where I am employed. This aused me to go to a Dr. be declared unfit top work for 5 days and being told that doesn't matter, "We need you to be here!"
