license for an escorting business, what

Forget about the business license, you should sit down with a criminal defense attorney and then get him or her on retainer, I think you'll need it for that type of business, just ask Emperors Club.

First, if you are running a legitimate business you should talk with a tax and business attorney about the best form of legal organization. Most likely, you will want an LLC.

Secondly, you will need to discuss the tax treatment of the escorts. Will they be employees or independent contractors?

You may be subject to the laws and regulations concerning employment agencies. Obviously, because some escort agencies are used for illegal purposes, you need to be set up properly and comply with all laws.
