Accused of Credit Card Fraud

one day almost at the end of my shift a customer came in and handed me a credit card he found outside in front of my store it belong to other customer he stood there while i called them but they didnt pick up i aslo had a coworker next to me i put the card in the draw an started to get ready to end my shift it was a sat we were close on sun an mon when i walk in to work i was asked where was the card at i pulled it out where i left it an gave it to my co worker who saw where i took it , now 2wks later i get pulled aside and question bout do i know bout any these charges that was made on that customer card i said no and u see me on camera doin wat i explain but my boss just bought that store from my old boss and he sayin to police that i had something to do with it he single me out and since it at a small town where nothing happens i think am being looked as the main person but now after that day the police came in i told them my story ,they went to the stores to see if thay had anything on camera one week goes by and now the police have called my house and said that i need to go in and have a talk bout it he said that he has no doubt i did it, i ask how he said when go there i will find out if he does wouldnt i be in jail alread

Bring a lawyer to any meeting. I know it sounds weird to need to protect yourself if you didn't do anything wrong, I've seen many people who made the mistake of thinking nothing was wrong and giving the police "information" that eventually leads to their arrest. Don't make the mistake!
