Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Getting arrested after serving a prision sentence

I'm not so sure about the specifics, but one of my daughter's friends was arrested several times I think 3 in total and then the 4th arrest he went to prision for 4 years. He served 3 and then was let out. (He was selling steroids). He was released in april of 2006. Within the past 3 months he got himself arrested 3 times that we know of, she has only known him for 3 months. 1st for driving in New Jersey with a suspended license because of tickets from 2002 that were unpaid from before he went to jail. The 2nd time for trying to get a New Jersey license with a False Birth Certificate. His middle initial is different than on his actual birth certificiate. They arrested him on the spot. Then the 3rd time when he went to court for one of the problems. He got arrested that night as well. My daughter had to bail him out that time. He lives in new york but is working in new jersey and he just wanted to be able to drive back and forth to work without worrying about the police. Loves his job and was trying to get his life on track. Wasn't trying to hurt anyone. But my question to you is does he face more prision time?

If he is not on parole his new charges can probably be managed so as to keep him from going back to prison.

Call me if you like.

It really depends on how he is charged. The second one is real tough. Some fake ID cases are now 2nd degree which means 5 to 10 years. Even if its a 3rd degree or a 4th, based upon his record, he will probably go to prison if convicted. The key here would be to beat the case. He should see a good lawyer ASAP.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss his case.
