Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Hello, I have a problem. I'm being bullyed by my housemate who was put in here as hes the landlords "Buddy " Ive been threatened, harrassed and scared to even leave my room. This man does Cocaine frequently , I've already reported him to my towns Narcotic Squad who are watching him.

My question is do you think I have enough , to get him arressted and to get a Restraining order against him? Hes threatened me , once grabbed me by the throat and told me If I ever tell anyone about his Cocaine , he'd kill me! Hes also has told me to keep my mouth shut OR ELSE! as he proceded to bring home a prostitute . He's also threatened my 3 shelter cats and threw one across the room once, as well as let one out on purpose , knowing they are house cats!

I suffer from depression and anxiety dIsorders, and he leaves me nasty notes telling me to get the F**K out of the house several times. Im scared to leave my room when hes home and when I go shopping or to pay bills I fear for the welfare of my cats ?

Can you help me Please ? Ive been told to file harrasement and Bullying charges against him and then get a restraining order. I guess I just fear that if the restraining order fails, I might be in alot more danger. I cannot leave this apartment as its paid for by City welfare, because of my disabillites. Ive tried going to the landlord , but he never doeS anything, and I have suspision that he might be behind the notes and hostile attitude, as I don't do drugs and never will. Could you please help ?
