robbery

if a robbery takes place, can the polices take you to the crime scene to be id by the victim. is this a proper line-up?

They CAN but perhaps judge will decide that what they did was impermissibly suggestive. Many more facts and circumstances are needed to give a better answer.

Depending upon the facts and circumstances of the case the police are authorized to bring you back to the crime scene to be identiifeid by the victim. This is an identification that can be attacked by your lawyer and possibly thrown out by the court, however.
