Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New Jersey

Registerfly.com should be closed down! I want my domain names back!

Ive transferred several domain names to registerfly.com from joker.com. I have paid all charges for this transfer. Registerfly.com seemed to have forgotten to transfer my domain names and now that my domain names have expired, registerfly.com blames joker.com that joker.com is holding my domain names ''hostage''. I wrote eleven emails to registerfly.com support system and they've answered only one email saying I need to contact joker.com. I also contacted eNom which registerfly.com buys through them. Finally, after three weeks, I have sent an email to registerfly.com that I'll stop credit card payment on these untransferred domain names and all other names I recently bought from registefly.com if they don't transfer the domain name. And I have stopped payment already. They answered back the day after I stopped payment that if I do so, I'll lose my domain names and I will need to pay $200 to regain ownership. Furthermore, they wrote that they will contact the police and FBI. I am so disgusted with registerfly.com bad business practice and I feel a little dangered by them. As I write to you, I hope to accomplish one thing. That is I want to transfer my domain names out of registerfly.com so that I can have full control again.

Re: Registerfly.com should be closed down! I want my domain names back!

In our "crowded world of words" we have seen a sharp increase in disputes over domain names.

Indeed, we handle cases against bumbling registrars, as well as cybersquatters, metataggers, hyperlinkers and other Internet pirates.

As such, we have created several websites devoted to issues such as yours, and have become the first (and so far the only) law firm worldwide that offers online domain registration and transfer services in addition to trademarks and copyrights.

Come visit us at www.namesavers.net;

Tour www.domaindispute.net;

and take a look at www.genericnamesonline.com;

Then send us an email and we will attempt to address the specifics of your situation.

Best Regards,
