Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

My friend and I were accused of taking $4,000 from our employer. We were fired a week ago. The Detectives said that we'd have to partake in a Lie Detector test, seeing as how the amount of money that's missing made it a 3rd degree. After this lie detector proves it wasn't us, can we counter-sue for anything or press any charges at all for wrongful termination?
