Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Sexual Harrassment at Work

I have been working at the same place for about 2 1/2 years. My boss has always been very touchy feely. We work in a spa, so our entire staff are women. He always rubs our backs or gives us mini-massages. Many of us find it creepy, but it's not a huge deal. Recently, however, one of my friends whom I work with (who is 17 years old) has been very, very close with him. For example, he rubs her back constantly, she kisses him on the cheek when she comes in and leaves work. He calls her everyday on her cell phone just to say hi, and I have seen the text messages he sends at midnight. He also ALWAYS pulls her out of work on the weekends (our busiest days) and brings her to our new spa that is just opening or to Staples or Walmart to ''help him'' and they have apparantely been seen out to eat on numerous occasions. She says she knows how weird the situation is, but I know she just is just saying that. She continues to play into the situation. The other people I work with and I are very concerned because we would feel terrible if anything happened to her and we all knew about it. We don't know what we can do, if anything to stop whats going on without losing our jobs. And the hotel I work at also does not have an HR department

Re: Sexual Harrassment at Work

This sounds like a case of sexual harassment to me. In addition, it sounds as if the company does not have adequate HR. Give our offices a call.
