Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

I own a condo in NJ. Ours is the 3rd floor (top unit) in the building. I am not normally there; although we do rent to tenants for 10 weeks during the summer.

My neighbor continuously harrasses the tenants by knocking on their door telling them to shut up, banging on the ceiling and also be doing things while the tenants are there.

I'd normally think this is an issue on our side; however, I was there a few times when she did the same to us and we didn't even do anything wrong. In fact, we had a dog there at one point with us who didn't even move. She called my sister to tell her she didn't know who we had there - but the dog was incessantly barking......THE DOG HADN'T EVEN MADE A NOISE.

At this point, she is now breaking things of ours (which I can't prove), and I really don't know what to do. Everyone tells me we just have to take it.

My concern is - I can't afford to not rent the place - and shouldn't have to. AND with the economy, I can't sell and move.

Does anyone have any advice?

Have a lawyer write a strong letter to this person, citing the harassment statute.

Calll me if you like.
