Your wife's estate is entitle to the benefits of her ownership interest in the partnership. Exactly what that means depends on the content of the partnership agreement and how much it leaves up to the NJ partnership law. Assuming that you are the representative of your wife's estate, you should have a lawyer review the agreement. If you do not have a copy, there are ways that one can be obtained from the remaining partners.

Your wife's estate is entitled to her share of the partnership, but her estate has to be probated whether or not she had a will. Request a copy of the partnership agreement.
