Re: punishment
Your question is unclear. Depending on what type of Court Judgment you seek to enforce, the Court will take different actions. Failure to allow a child to visit with his father after a divorce, failure to obey a direct order by a Judge to do a particular thing, and many other types of judgment, could be enforced by 'contempt' proceedings and even jail. Other judgments can only be enforce in other, less forceful means.
If I can be of assistance, please let me know.
Re: punishment
I agree with Bob. The nature of the type of proceeding and what the judgment requires to be done, as well as what is required to enforce it, all bear on the failure to comply and the penalties that can be assessed. They can range from purely civil (such as interest, penalties, court costs, legal fees, etc.) to criminal (possible jail time until compliance). Much more information is needed to provide more than a general response.
