Incorrect sex listed on speeding ticket

I received a ticket for speeding in Bloomfield, NJ. The officer listed me as a male which is incorrect. Can the case be dismissed because of this?

Re: Incorrect sex listed on speeding ticket

It makes no difference. He gave you the ticket and apparently has your name and other identifiers correctly. It is an unimportant clerical error.

Call me if you like.

Probably not since there is other identifying info on the ticket.

No, the ticket cannot be dismissed for a simple clerical error like this. I would however like to discuss the speeding ticket itself with you, and what I could possibly do to help you. Please contact me at your convenience. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
