Legal Question in Administrative Law in New York

Bought a house with my former boyfriend I have moved out and he has married and is living in the house. Both names are still on the mortgage and he has been late on payments ruining my credit. What can I do to get my name off the mortgage.

You have to make a motion to the court enforcing your right to sell the house and satisfy the mortgage from the proceeds. If the sale does not satisfy the mortgage you and your boyfriend are both on the hook for the deficiency.
