Legal Question in Constitutional Law in New York

I was arrested

I was arrested in NY and charged with petty larsony and criminal possession stlen propert-5th. I wasn'y able to make it to my courtdate because I ended up moving away from NY and I had no way of making my courtdate. Well, now I want to get a job in the school system substitute teaching and I have to be fingerprinted, will this hurt my chances of being hired because I have a NY warrant? What should I do?
