Re: Action to be taken

Since your judgment is from a NY court, one way to find an attorney is to review the questions and answers on this message board for New York under "Credit, Debt & Collection Law" and review the profiles of some of the attorneys responding to questions (and also what you can find out about them on the Internet, such as from their websites or Google search) and contact some of them. Another way is to call one of the bar associations in the area and ask for their Lawyer Referral Service.

You can check out the FAQs on our webiste for more info. at www.starrandstarr.com/faq.htm.

Re: Action to be taken

The judgment must be attacked in NY -- in the court from which it issued. Without knowing where, it is difficult to assist further.

Good Luck
