Reckless driving

i just bought a car on loan i took out and 2 weeks later me and my friend went to watch street racing in brooklyn new york and we met some person there who raced my car and when cops came to raid the place the person ran away and my friend sat in drivers seat we set in the road block for a hour and then officers came took my car keys and arrested my friend they are tryin to forfieture my car due to this new law in 2000 they made to sieze car even for reckless driving not only DWI/DUI i filed a demand for my car at the impound i have to wait now for a answer if i get it back or not i mean im the owner i didnt race the car and my parents are the registered owners they didnt even know thier car was going to be used for this plus the cops didn't catch no one red handed we stood in road block for a hour before anything happened they impounded like 60 cars also on my title it says lien holder as my load bank capital one does that help me i mean if they take it ill be payin for a car for next 3 years i wont ever see again can you please help answer this are they going to take it for good

You are obliged on the car loan...whether or not you have the car, or it is impounded.
