Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

Applying for GC Part 2

Thanks for the advise on my previous question. I have been here for 16 years. I have been here since 12 and I will be 28 in a month.

I went to high school and also have a 2 year degree. I have been paying taxes and filed yearly. I was married to a US born citizen since 2001 but we are seperated b/c of the abusive relationship.

I do not know where he is and I am still married to him. I came into US legally. Currently, my visa has been expiered.

I have a brother who has his GC and his two daugters are us citizens but I dont speak with him.

We do not have a relationship. Where should I start to figure out how I can apply for such card? I need some advise and if possible could you provide a number so I can call?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Applying for GC Part 2

You can apply for adjustment of status and then become a citizen. You can do this based on your marriage.
