It depends on his citizenship, visa (if he is in USA now), prior immigration history in USA. If he is a UK citizen who had never violated any US immigration laws, you have a few options how to bring him to USA. The primary option would be a Fiance visa (assuming that you are a US citizen, and you two met in person).
