Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I need a Pro bono Lawyer not a lawyer who wants 600 already spoke to one who asked for that which I think is mean considering my unemployment is 800 a month

I need a lawyer to come wiht me to an appeal with the dept of labor , they say they overpaid me 2 years ago by 519.00 the former employer refuses to give me mytime cards to prove differently and my penalty with unemployment is 8 weeks which will bring it to 11 weeks no money , its already been 5 weeks now I am scared I am broke I need help and cant find anyone who can or will help me.

Please someone with a heart help me this is not fair

Pro Bono lawyers preserve their time for those really in need of assistance in criminal matters and severe civil matters (e.g. housing evictions). Your case is considered "di minumus" matter that you should be able to resolve without the assistance of an attorney.
