Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

apartment sale

My spouse is out of state now. May I sell an apartment owned jointly myself? Do I need a power of attorney for closing or something else...?

Thanks.

Re: apartment sale

You will need a power of attorney at the closing. In addition, the title closer will want to speak with your spouse by telephone, for verification purposes, to insure the power is still effective.

None of this is a problem. If you wish to discuss this further, feel free to email or call 9149071165.
