Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

as a co owner of a home with my grandmother who recently pass away leaving no will , Do i become sole owner of the home, or do her grandchildren have any part ownership of the home? i live in NY state

If the deed recites both of your names as "joint tenants with right of survivorship," then the property should pass to you by operation of law. I am assuming that your grandmother was not married at the time of her death. Her other grandchildren would not share in the property.
