You can always help to sell your home, pictures in ads and open-houses are always helpful. You should also let the agent know if you wish to place ads. However, you should clarify with your agent the commission that will be paid, or not paid if you find the buyer for your property and not the agent.

Depending on whether you have an exclusive listing with your agent, you may be able to list your home with other agencies.
