Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

old compensation case

I fell on a construction site. My back and neck were injured. I collected comp for about 6mo. -1 yr. This was in 1980. Can I open this case again, because my condition is getting worse.

The 18 and 8 rule would preclude you. Your case is over 18 years old and it has been more than 8 years since you last got any compensation. Even if you had a change in condition you would have an uphill battle convincing a wclj.you probablly should not fight this battle.
