driving w/out ins. on car?

do I need a lawyer? what am i looking at court ,fees and so on.

What is the reason that you have no insurance? Did it lapse? Do you have it now? You can always go to court and show proof that you are carrying insurance. The ticket might even be dismissed. You can always ask for a continuance and hire a lawyer if you don't like the deal that the district attorney offers you.

If you still don't have insurance, then you may want to get a lawyer and I would really advise you not to drive until you obtain insurance.
