Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

default on credit card

I defaulted on a Providian credit card 1800.00.their collection agent filed a complaint in court against me. I have been trying to repay all my debts, but I do not have the funds now to pay this. This was a unsecure credit card and they will not take a settlement what can I do. I have 18 days to file my answer with the courts. HELP

You MUST file an answer. If you don't, they will take a judgment against you. They may end up getting a judgment anyhow, but the filing of an answer will at least buy you some time.
