Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Garnishment other than personal earnings

If I have direct deposit to my checking account, and I only have enough funds there to pay my bills and buy groceries, can a creditor withdraw all of my money, leaving me no way to survive until the next paycheck? I just got paid 3/30 and all of my money is gone to pay the creditor? How am I supposed to feed my family?

Unfortunately, that's one of the possibilities when you have a judgment rendered against you and/or you owe money to a creditor. If you were previously represented, your attorney should have told you of this possibility.
