Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Reserving services on telephone with credit card

I recently held a limo using my credit card and they charged me half the amount. I want to cancel the services that I have not received and will not until June 2002, but they will not refund my money. I have not signed anything and they do not have the imprint of my card. The credit card company will not do anything either. Do I have the right to cancel without being charged? I canceled in one day and the date is a year away.

You should be able to cancel. Did you protest the charge in writing. I beleive that the credit cards require that all protests be done in writing. If that does not work then contact the attorney general or an attorney who does consumer law.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!
