Statute of Limitations in Ohio

I've had a debt collector calling me on a Sears account that has been deliquent for 10 years and threatening to take me to court. On a Sears account is it considered an ''open account'' or ''written'' account?

Assume a 15 year statute of limitations on a written contract.
