Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

hand gun was confiscated in a drup search of which i was not the suspect or charged with any wrong doing. cases are all closed on the suspects and they are holding gun in property room. how do i go about recorvering my personal property. gun is an antique that has been passed down over the years and i have no proof that it belongs to me other than it was found in my sleeping quarters (under mattress) cases for the suspects were judged upon in late may is there a time limit for me to retreive this property please tell ,me how as this gun means a considerable amount to me thanks

You could file an action to recover the weapon, but you will be required to prove that it was your weapon. Have you called the prosecutor, or the police, to explain why you want the weapon returned?
