401k dispersal/ qdro

What do I have to do in regards to giving my exwife her part of my 401k as written in our divorce papers ?

A document called a QDRO (qualified domestic relations order) needs to be prepared, filed with the Court, and, once the Court approves it with an Order, sent to the financial institution or employer handling your 401k.

You should have the text of the QDRO in your divorce decree. That should be given to the administrator of your 401K, who will make the approriate sequestration on his records.
