Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
family law
My ex husband has not asked to see our children since January and only pays his support when faced with license suspension or jail time. He now wants to see the kids again. Do I have to let him and if I don't, what kind of legal action can be taken against me?

Child support and visitation are separate obligations, and you can be held in contempt of court for failing to make children available for visitation. Penalties for contempt vary, but range anywhere from a fine, to loss of visitation time, possible jail time, or even a loss of custody.
