Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Paternity tests, and other legal papers.
My 17 year old sister (who is now 18) got pregnant by a 16 year old. At the hospital, he (the 16 year old) signed some kind of affit-davit (supposedly) taking on all responsibility (financially) for his child. Two weeks after the birth, he claims that the child is not his, but says that the paper he signed prohibits him from getting a paternity test for six months? His mother also says that his signature on this mysterious document ensures him of joint custody of the child.
Is there such document? Is it legal for a 16 year old to sign such a document without a parentor guardian? What's with a six month waiting period for a paternity test?

I never heard of these things. A 16 yesr old cannot sign a binding contract. I don't think anything he signs would be valid.
