Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

visitation

my daughter had a child ot of wedlock. child support has been ordered through court. my daughter knows that the baby's father does drugs and the father also has not paid any support for a almost a year now. there has been no ordr on visitation. the baby's father does not want my daughter knowing where he lives and so my daughter said you can't see the baby then since you don't want me to know where my child is. is she within her rights as custodial parent?

Re: visitation

Technnically your daughter is within her rights in view of the fact that the court has not entered an order with regard to parental rights and responsibilities.

Re: visitation

Since there is no order delineating visitation, you could deny visitation. At that point the fathers option is to file a motion requesting visitation. The Court will probably order visitation, but probably require supervised visitation.
