Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Self Renewing lease

I have had a self renewing lease for 4 years. I have never signed a new lease. I pay my rent every month. My landlord came today and hand delivered a paper telling me that i have been on month to month rent and need to vacate the premises as he has need of the space. I have until May 15 2009. He told me it was so his housemates neice could move in. Is this legal. Can he really evict me so a family member can move in. Regardless of the 65 days notice he gave me. Is this legal?

Re: Self Renewing lease

A lawyer has to read your contract. If it truly is self-renewing, then you dont have a month to month, you have a year to year, but no one could say that unless they saw the lease itself...fax it to me at 1.866.260.1859 if you want a more definite answer...
