Statue of Limitation for personal injury (auto accident)

What it the statue of limitation for personal injury claims after an auto accident? I was rear-ended and sustained a neck injury, which I thought was just stiffnes and would go away. It will be three years next month since the accident.

If the liable party is an uninsured motorist, you might have six years if you carry such insurance in Alabama.

The statute of limitations expires two years from the date of injury unless you were a minor at the time of the accident-then it expires two years from your 18th birthday.

In Alabama, it is also two years from the date of the accident, with a consideration for minors, but the age of majority here is 19. 334-678-7780
