Re: power of attorney
Dear Inquirer: Cancel any Power of Attorney ("POA") in the same manner as it was created, namely: in writing!!!
The maker/grantor of the POA may simply state it is revoking the POA made on or about (date), granting (name and address, etc.)the original POA. Sign it before a Notary Public. Then, for safety and even greater certainty, have it recorded by the County Recorder!
You are well advised to retain an experienced Attorney to prepare and assist you.
Good luck.
Sincerely, J. Norman Stark
Good luck
