3 D.U.I.'s

I have recieved 3 D.U.I.'s in the last 5 years. How long can the judge take my lisence for? When am I eligible for driving privillages?

Generally, if this is your 3rd OVI and you failed the chemical test (breath, blood, or urine), you are first looking at a 2-year administrative license suspension (ALS), with the possibility of privileges after 180 days. The judge, with a conviction on this charge, could suspend your license for 2-10 years, with the possibility of privileges after 180 days.

I would suggest talking to a lawyer about your case before your court date. He or she can more accurately tell you possible lengths of suspension based on your particular situation. He or she might also be able to get a plea deal for you so you don't have the 3rd OVI offense penalties.
