Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

I have court in a week for license forfeiture and license plate lights. Here's the catch, I have both plate lights but they are blue( non flashing/solid) and the police officer continued to charge me with license forfeiture. But he "knew" who I was and I'm sure that's why he pulled me over-- did I say this is the same cop that pulled me over before because he knew me? my question: since he "profiled" me to pull me over is that grounds for acquittal?

Also, since my license plate lights are legal, is that also grounds for acquittal for my license charge? Since one led to another?

If you can show that the license plate lights sufficiently lit up your plates then, yes, the subsequent charge should be dismissed. The one does rely on the other. The process begins with you filing a Motion to Suppress. You need to file that motion immediately. You're going to need help to do that.
