we have filed lawsuit in oregon. it is due to wrongful termination due to racial issues at my previous place of emplyment directed at me also due to my on the job injury. we filed lawsuit after BOLI did investigation. BOLI had right to sure letter that gave us 90 days to file lawsuit. we did that. then companies attorney would not accept papers and assigned new attorney finally accpeted but now says we sereved after the 60 day time limit for serving. is this true? We feel it is their fault since they did not accpet papers. Is there time limits less then the 120 days we were told we had? please answer us thank you so much

YOU MUST CONSULT AN ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY. Time limits for service have many exceptions, but it requires a lawyer to sort them all out. DO NOT DELAY. The longer service is not perfected, the harder it is to try to fix it -- if it can be fixed.
